West Virginia got a strong outing from Chance Thrasher as the Power defeated the Delmarva Shorebirds, 3-2, at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Arturo Romo closed the game out for West Virginia, earning his 4th save. West Virginia's record now stands at 55-41, placing them third in the North.

West Virginia used a well-timed hit by Ronnie Hill to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Power ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

Thrasher called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
