Legends Reel Off Another Win
|
The Lexington Legends topped the West Virginia Power, 5-3, in South Atlantic League action at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lexington pitcher Camden Minacci. The Legends have an impressive 72-46 record.
The Legends got a big at-bat from second baseman Colt Carbino. For the game, Carbino was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 20th double of the season gave Lexington a 5-2 lead.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Lexington manager Andrew Susac.
