The Asheville Tourists defeated the Greenville Drive, 3-1. Doing his part was shortstop Thomas Saggese, who was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. Cade Chambers earned the win to go to 3-3. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. The win elevated the Tourists to 81-46.

Raúl Maritza went 1 for 2 for Asheville. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Cooper Justice. It was his 31st RBI of the season.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Saggese told the Asheville Gazette.
