Kernels Squelch River Bandits Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Cedar Rapids Kernels faced a tough opponent in Quad Cities pitcher Chase Shores, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Veterans Memorial Stadium by a final score of 4-0. Shores went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Cedar Rapids reliever Manuel Hernández was the winner. His record is now 4-0. The losing pitcher was Chase Shores.
