Bees Take Nail-Biter Over Chiefs
Despite a fine performance by center fielder Peter Crow-Armstrong, the Peoria Chiefs lost to the Burlington Bees, 6-5. Crow-Armstrong was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Brayan Medina came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 3-6. With the victory, the Bees record now stands at 79-55.

The Bees procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Colson Montgomery. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"This place was electric at the end," Montgomery said.
