Bowling Green rode a good effort from starter Aaron Reitsma to beat the Lansing Lugnuts at Cooley Law School Stadium. The final score was 5-0. Bowling Green is now 70-68, Lansing 69-69.

Bowling Green used the bat of Daniel Montano to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hot Rods ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

Montano attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
