The Inland Empire 66ers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ryan Dauster, who stifled the Lancaster offense en route to a 2-0 66ers win at Clear Channel Stadium. Osiel Rodriguez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 12th save. With the win over Lancaster, the 66ers improved to 64-70.

Dauster went 7.2 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. The Inland Empire right-hander, now 5-3, has an ERA of 2.03 this season.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Inland Empire manager Andy Cannizaro said.
