Giants Roll to 8-0 Win Over Quakes
San Jose Giants starter Tekoah Roby turned in a top-notch performance against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes at Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter. The result was a win for the Giants, 8-0. Roby got the win, improving to 6-3. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. Roby allowed no runs. Their 74-61 record puts the Giants second in the North.

Steve McSwain, the 24-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. McSwain contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put San Jose up, 1-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said McSwain.
