Lake Elsinore second baseman Josh Kasevich had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Bakersfield Blaze, 7-4. Lake Elsinore reliever Mitchell Moore got the win, raising his record to 7-7. Cade Halemanu was tagged with the loss. The win elevated the Storm to 69-68.

Kasevich had a timely hit for Lake Elsinore in the bottom of the seventh. With Bakersfield trailing 3-2, he turned a 0-2 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season, making it 5-3, Lake Elsinore.

"It was a solid team effort," said Kasevich after the game.
