JetHawks Earn 3-2 Win Versus Mavericks
|
Lancaster JetHawks starter Cooper Hjerpe pitched a strong game against the High Desert Mavericks at BB&T Coastal Field, leading the JetHawks to victory, 3-2. The third-place JetHawks now have a win-loss record of 67-72.
Runs were few and far between in this one. So, Sam Henry's at-bat with one out in the top of the ninth was crucial. The Lancaster second baseman grounded out, driving in 1 run, to give his team a 3-2 lead.
"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Hjerpe.
