Biscuits Keep Streak Alive With 7-5 Win
The Montgomery Biscuits and Jackson Generals completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Montgomery Biscuits beat the Jackson Generals, 7-5, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The win was due in part to center fielder Fuller McCullough, who was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. António Pérez notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 8-2. Picking up the save was Jake Killingsworth, his 9th.

McCullough contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Montgomery in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 3-2, McCullough took a fastball from Tommy Mace and stroked the home run to left-center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Biscuits to leap in front, 4-3.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," McCullough told the Montgomery Daily.

Montgomery has now won 9 straight.
