Biscuits Best Generals in Pitching Duel

Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.
The bats were silent much of the day at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. But Spencer Brasch conjured up just enough offense to carry the Biscuits past the Jackson Generals, 2-1. Brasch was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times. Montgomery has now won 11 straight.
In the bottom of the fourth, Montgomery shortstop Freddy Zamora had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 3rd and two out, Zamora stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 2-1, Montgomery. For the game, he was 1 for 2.
"Enjoyed this one," Brasch told the Montgomery Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
