Montgomery Biscuits starter Clarence Dunn turned in a top-notch performance against the Biloxi Shuckers at MGM Park. The result was a win for the Biscuits, 3-2. Dunn, the winner, moves to 9-5. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk. Jake Killingsworth got the save, his 11th in 12 chances.

The outcome might have been different for Montgomery, had it not been for Spencer Brasch, the 22-year old first baseman . Brasch stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Montgomery up, 3-2. For the game, he was 4 for 5, including 1 double and 3 singles.

"Feels good to get the job done," Brasch said after the game.

The victory gives Montgomery a record of 73-65.
