Biscuits Need Extra Frames to Get Past BayBears
The Montgomery Biscuits topped the Mobile BayBears, 8-7, with shortstop Freddy Zamora playing a big role. Zamora was 3-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Biscuits in the win. Montgomery reliever Abner Uribe picked up the win, upping his record to 1-5. Staryln Castillo was saddled with the loss. Montgomery has 3 straight wins, Mobile 3 straight losses.

Zamora had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 3-1 fastball from Staryln Castillo, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Biscuits a 8-7 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Zamora.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Zamora.
