The Cleveland (LV) Guardians overcame a fine performance by Cincinnati (LV) right fielder Kyle Knecht to defeat the Reds, 14-4, at Green Valley Field. Knecht went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Cleveland (LV) reliever Pedro Alba picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Cooper Brignac took the loss. The Guardians improved to a lofty 39-9.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ramón Fernández? The Cleveland (LV) shortstop had a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Guardians on top, 5-3. For the game, Fernández had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
