The Guardians grabbed a win, 6-2, at Allegiant Field, overcoming a fine effort from New York (LV) pitcher Stu Flesland III. Flesland III went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Cleveland (LV) reliever Cristián Ortíz picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Nunno Holtreman was tagged with the loss. The Guardians have now won 5 straight.
Cleveland (LV) relied on the hitting of Maxwell Muncy to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Guardians on top, 3-2. For the game, Muncy had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
