Lake Nona used a superb performance from starting pitcher Alex Tainsh to down the Fort Myers (MIN) Twins, 8-0. Luke Albright, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The loss puts Fort Myers (MIN) at 2-4.

Lake Nona relied on the bat of Cooper Barkate to get the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rockies ahead, 2-0. For the game, Barkate had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Tainsh told the Lake Nona Chronicle.
