Astros Take Down Marlins, 4-3
|
Astros fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.
Behind the hitting of Tim Schwall, the Kissimmee Astros stopped the Jupiter (MIA) Marlins, 4-3. Schwall went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 4 RBI for the Astros. The win puts the Astros at 10-14, while the Marlins drop to 10-14.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Schwall hit a fastball from Elijah Trest for a run-scoring single. The Astros, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Schwall said.
