The Fort Myers (MIN) Twins eked out a 1-0 win versus the Port Charlotte Rays at Lee County Sports Complex. Nobody did more than pitcher Jeremy Lee. He was terrific. James Elwell, now 2-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Jordan Taylor, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 9th save.

Fort Myers (MIN) took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Payton Green hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Twins.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Port Charlotte manager Lou Marson.

The win makes Fort Myers (MIN) 17-16.
