Frisco RoughRiders starter Jack Miller was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Arkansas Travelers, 1-0. The RoughRiders, at 79-41, have a comfortable 14½-game lead in their division.

The Travelers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the RoughRiders going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old left fielder Andy Kennedy came to the plate. Kennedy hit a run-scoring triple on a full count fastball from Arkansas hurler Ty Madden. It was Kennedy's 5th triple of the year.

"Enjoyed this one," Miller told the Frisco Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
