|
Amarillo right fielder Luis Tobías was a significant contributor in his team's 4-2 triumph over the Frisco RoughRiders. He was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI for Amarillo. Amarillo, at 53-75, occupies last place in the South.
Tobías had a timely hit for Amarillo in the top of the sixth. With Frisco trailing 1-0, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run double. It was his 12th double of the season, making it 2-1, Amarillo.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Tobías. "And not try to do too much."
