The home crowd had a good time watching the Tulsa Drillers and Corpus Christi Hooks get after it.

Daniel Lynch was locked and loaded, helping the Corpus Christi Hooks beat the Tulsa Drillers, 9-1. The second-place Hooks have won 4 straight.

The Drillers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Hooks going into the bottom of the second inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old right fielder Neil Lewis came to the plate. Lewis hit a bases-clearing double on a 1-2 fastball from Tulsa hurler Brant Hurter. It was Lewis's 21st double of the year.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Hooks manager Preston Mattingly.
