Despite a fine performance by third baseman Drew Bowser, the Jupiter (STL) Cardinals lost to the Fort Myers (MIN) Twins, 4-2. Bowser was 2 for 3 with a home run. Sam Highfill was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 3 save opportunities. The Twins have now won 4 straight.
The Twins got a big at-bat from first baseman Charlie Crawford. For the game, Crawford went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Fort Myers (MIN) a 2-0 lead.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Crawford said.
