Guardians Heading to Semifinal
Nick Lorusso said it was "cold comfort" to be named MVP in a losing effort, with his team ousted from the Quarterfinal.

The New York (LV) Mets player had a standout performance against the Cleveland (LV) Guardians, but it still wasn't good enough to get the win, as his club fell 6-5 in the contest played at Green Valley Field.

"It's a sick feeling to get MVP and still not win the game," he said. "It really doesn't ease the pain at all."

There was certainly no pain in the Cleveland (LV) clubhouse after the game, as the team joyously celebrated its berth in the Semifinal. Players hooted and hollered, with bear hugs and high-fives being exchanged, as a Championship Series victory remained a very real possibility.

The Semifinal matchups and schedule will be announced after the Quarterfinal finishes.
