Jupiter (STL) Breaks Through for First Win in Round 1; Now Trails 2-1
The Jupiter (STL) Cardinals got a strong game from starter Connor Colicchio, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Cardinals took the 4-3 win over the Lake Nona Rockies in Game 3 of the Round 1 in a 9th inning walk-off today. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Colicchio. Colicchio threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball in the win, which allowed the Cardinals to narrow their deficit to 1-2 in the best-of-5 series.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Jupiter (STL) trailing 3-2, Devin Taylor hit a fastball from Jonathan Diebler to center for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Cardinals had a walk-off win.

"Enough drama for you?" winked Cardinals manager Wes Carroll after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter.
