Dunedin Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in R1
The Dunedin Blue Jays got a strong performance from pitcher Will May, who stymied the visiting Sarasota Orioles en route to a win, 6-0, in Game 3 of the Round 1 today. The Orioles could never get a bead on the left-handed May, who threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. The Blue Jays now hold a 2-1 in the best-of-5 series.

The Blue Jays liked what they saw from May. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Orioles to no runs on no hits over 5.2 innings, and striking out 4.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Dunedin manager Brian Daubach told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Bobby Mattick Training Center
at Englebert Complex in Dunedin.
