Round 1 Game 1 Victory for Walls and Port St. Lucie
The Round 1 got off to a quiet start today, with the host Port St. Lucie Mets taking a low-scoring 3-0 win over the Jupiter (MIA) Marlins. Port St. Lucie left-hander Mark Walls was marvelous at Tradition Field. The Mets now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

Walls, who was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, threw 80 pitches over 6 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Morgan Ensberg.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tradition Field in Saranac.
