The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Progressive Field, knocking off the Cleveland Guardians, 4-3. Starting pitcher Todd Collins was a big reason why. Texas is in last place in the American League West with a record of 65-83.

Texas used a well-timed hit by Mike Murray to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Rangers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I felt good up there," said Murray. "I saw the ball well."
