Seattle rode a decent outing from starter Kyle Wright to victory over the Texas Rangers. The final score was 5-3. Daniel Schlereth got the save, his 3rd in 6 chances. Seattle now has a 3-game win streak.

Had Ed Harris not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Harris hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Mariners.
