The Lehigh Valley IronPigs picked up a win at Coca-Cola Park, knocking off the Syracuse Chiefs, 3-1. Starting pitcher Taijuan Walker was a big reason why. Gabriel Flores locked down his 12th save. With the victory, the IronPigs record now stands at 24-18.

Vito Maas hit a run-scoring double off Jasseel De La Cruz in the bottom of the second, which put the IronPigs in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Maas had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Lehigh Valley manager Troy Gingrich. "It's usually not just one thing."
