Bulls Get One-Run Win at Buffalo

Durham rode a decent outing from starter Joseph Charles to victory over the Buffalo Bisons. The final score was 6-5. Charles got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 4 over 6 innings. Charles allowed 3 runs. Mike Wood, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save.
Durham relied on the hitting of Ryan Spieth to pick up the win. The shortstop ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bulls on top, 5-3. For the game, Spieth had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
