Toledo and Buffalo duked it out and the Mud Hens came out victorious.

The Toledo Mud Hens topped the Buffalo Bisons, 4-1, in International League action at Coca-Cola Field. The standout performance belonged to Toledo pitcher and Yorktown, Indiana, native John McGuire. The save was credited to Weston Shuster, his 10th.

It could have been a different outcome for Toledo, had it not been for Davis Wendzel, the 26-year old second baseman . Wendzel contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Toledo up, 2-1.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Wendzel. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

Toledo bumps their record to 28-29 with the win.
