Buffalo got a decent performance from pitcher Scott Clark, but it wasn't enough to beat the Toledo Mud Hens. Toledo won the Coca-Cola Field contest, 4-3. Clark threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. Carlos González, credited with the win, is now 3-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit. Weston Shuster, credited with the save, is now 12 for 13 in save opportunities.

Maverick McIvor, the 22-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. McIvor contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Toledo up, 4-3.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," McIvor told the Toledo Times.

The win puts Toledo at 30-30 this season.
