The Rochester Red Wings got a superb performance from pitcher Jorge Rodríguez. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Indianapolis. The Indians won the game, 3-2. Rodríguez threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The win gives Indianapolis a season record of 40-40.

David Moyne was the walk-off hero for Indianapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Indians first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Moyne said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
