Clippers Top Durham, 2-1
|
Columbus Clippers starter Jonathan Bowlan turned in a sterling performance against the Durham Bulls, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. The Clippers have now won 4 straight.
Garrett Witt was the walk-off hero for Columbus. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Clippers designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"This place was rockin'," said Bowlan.
