The performance of Erik Lee proved critical in helping Rochester beat Buffalo, 4-2. The Red Wings second baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Rochester has now won 3 in a row.

Lee contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Rochester in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Lee took a fastball from Dwight Hanson and stroked the home run to left-center. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Red Wings to leap in front, 3-2.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Lee told the Rochester News.
