The Gwinnett Stripers knocked off the Charlotte Knights, 6-4, at Coolray Field. Pat White was a big reason Gwinnett won. The shortstop was 4 for 4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win was credited to Jordan Johnson in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Bryce Montes De Oca took the loss. The South-leading Stripers have a record of 73-56.

Justin Foscue was the walk-off hero for Gwinnett. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stripers second baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Foscue. "And not try to do too much."
