Frontier Field was the site for International League action featuring the Syracuse Chiefs and Rochester Red Wings.

The Rochester Red Wings topped the Syracuse Chiefs, 7-3, with youngster Isaac Stephenson playing a key role. Stephenson went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Red Wings in the win. A.J. Bentley, the winning pitcher, is now 9-9. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, while fanning 10 and walking 1. Kevin Aylward picked up the save, his 2nd.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Stephenson, who is tied for 9th in the IL in hits with 117, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Red Wings into the lead, 4-1.

"I felt good up there," said Stephenson. "I saw the ball well."

Rochester currently is in second place in the North at 64-67.
