Chihuahuas Win, Estever goes 3-for-4
The 8-5 El Paso win over Wichita was due in large part to Júlio Estever. The Chihuahuas designated hitter went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Chihuahuas, at 27-21, sit in second place in the Pacific Conference South.

Estever had a timely hit for El Paso in the top of the eighth. With Wichita trailing 5-4, he turned a 0-1 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 7-5, El Paso.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Estever told the El Paso Daily News.
