Rainiers Sink Aviators, 7-4
|
Donnie Lewis was a vital contributor to the 7-4 Tacoma victory over Las Vegas. The Rainiers second baseman was 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Myles Brennan, now 6-3, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 1. Victor Vodnik closed the door for Tacoma, picking up his 7th save of the year.
Sherman Davis took Seth Johnson deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 3-run home run put the Rainiers on top, 7-4. In all, Davis had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Davis.
Tacoma is now 72-67, Las Vegas 66-73.
