The Trenton Thunder and Erie SeaWolves rewarded fans hoping for nail-biter.

The Trenton Thunder faced a tough opponent in Erie pitcher Lorenzo Guerreb, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Mercer County Waterfront Park by a final score of 1-0. Guerreb went 9 innings and allowed no runs. Zach Brzykcy, 1-6, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings.

The Thunder relied on second baseman Paul Terry for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Terry said.

The win puts Trenton at 45-83.
