Twins Suffer 12-2 Drubbing

Oakland (LV) shortstop Cam Clayton had a 6-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Minnesota (LV) Twins, 12-2. The Athletics saw their record improve to 11-5.
Clayton contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Oakland (LV) in the top of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Clayton took a fastball from Jason Majewski and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Athletics to leap in front, 3-1.
"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Athletics manager Kai Correa.
