Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old third baseman Glenallen Hill Jr., the Montgomery Biscuits stopped the Mobile BayBears, 6-1. The winning pitcher was Ryan Cusick. He's now 1-0. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 8 hits for the Biscuits. Montgomery is off to a hot start at 2-1.

With Montgomery leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Hill Jr. hit a fastball from Dan MacCombie for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Biscuits ahead, 2-0.
