Dauri Lorenzo was a major factor in the 7-5 Montgomery win over Biloxi. The Biscuits shortstop was 1-4 with a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Shuckers, now 4-11, continue their poor start.

With Montgomery trailing 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Lorenzo hit a 2-run single off Biloxi hurler Ken Seals. It was the 13th hit of the season for Lorenzo and put his team ahead, 3-2.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Lorenzo, "one at-bat at a time."
