Biloxi Beats Birmingham, 6-3
|
Seth Gray had a hand in Biloxi defeating Birmingham by the score of 6-3. Gray went 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 1 runs. Biloxi reliever Mason Englert picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Dylan Dodd was saddled with the loss. Greg Wilbraham earned the save, his 2nd, for the Shuckers.
Adrian Del Castillo hit a 2-run double off Dylan Dodd in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Shuckers in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Del Castillo had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Del Castillo.
The Barons are now 6-14.
