Loss to Power Extends Hagerstown Losing Streak

The West Virginia Power eked out a 3-2 win versus the Hagerstown Suns at Municipal Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Jarrett Lee. He was terrific. West Virginia reliever António Castillo picked up the win to move to 1-0. Juan García suffered the loss. Wyatt Olds got the save, the 2nd for him this season.
West Virginia took advantage of an error in the top of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Miguel Zambrano hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put West Virginia in front, 2-1.
After the game, West Virginia manager Tyler Pastornicky applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
The win gives West Virginia a record of 4-4.
