Bennett Rips Montgomery for 5 Hits
The Biloxi Shuckers stopped the Montgomery Biscuits by a score of 10-2 at MGM Park today, with the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Stetson Bennett. The 22-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Bennett said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Bennett did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Biscuits.

"Not much that I can say," offered Montgomery manager Joey Cora. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Stetson Bennett singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Avilasa Trishwant in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.

This season Bennett is batting .304 with 34 hits, 2 home runs, 16 RBIs, 16 walks, .391 OBP and has scored 13 runs. He has played in 30 games.
