Biscuits Earn 5-4 Win Against Generals
|
The Biscuits grabbed a win, 5-4, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Jackson pitcher Thatcher Hurd. Hurd went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Montgomery now has a 3-game win streak.
The Biscuits procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Don Jones. In the bottom of the 22nd, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Jones.
