The Greenville Drive and Charleston RiverDogs provided some drama for the home crowd.

Greenville got a terrific game from left fielder Erik Rivera. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Charleston, 5-4. Rivera was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Quinn Mathews notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0.

Jonathan Berry came through for Charleston with a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh. The designated hitter went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.

Berry called the triumph "a good team win."
