Zamora Lifts Biscuits to 9-6 Win
The Montgomery Biscuits knocked off the Biloxi Shuckers, 9-6, at MGM Park. Freddy Zamora was a big reason Montgomery won. The designated hitter was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Montgomery starter Ryan Cusick was credited with the win after throwing 89 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 5-2. The triumph puts Montgomery at 37-32 for the season.

Dauri Lorenzo, who leads the SL in triples with 6, aided the Montgomery cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the second. For the game, the shortstop went 2-4 with a triple and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
