Braves Reel-In 5-3 Win Over Biscuits

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Mississippi Braves and Montgomery Biscuits.
The Mississippi Braves defeated the Montgomery Biscuits, 5-3. Doing his part was right fielder Arturo Gómez, who slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The South-leading Braves have a record of 45-29.
Mississippi used a clutch hit from Brandon McIlwain to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Braves ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It feels good to get this one," McIlwain told the Mississippi Chronicle.
